Hardpoint Assessment for Bottoms
Suspension bondage is an exciting and very desirable type of play right now. More and more people are doing it and in a variety of venues. The most catastrophic accidents in suspension bondage are caused by hardpoint failure. Yet for most of us, it is the one thing in our suspension play we have the least control or knowledge about.
This class is for bottoms with an eye toward giving you the skills you need to look up and decide “is that a solid hardpoint that is safe for me to hang from” (tops are welcome to join in). We will discuss in layman’s terms how things actually fail and what signs to look for that a hardpoint has been poorly maintained or is too weak. There will be examples of things done right and how to examine them from the ground or a ladder. Jim will share common ways things are done wrong as well as demonstrate some failures. This class is a must for anyone who wants to play with suspension bondage. There will be time for discussion of examples, concerns, and scenarios.
Students are encouraged participate and to bring their questions.
All sexes, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, relationship orientations welcome and celebrated.
